Fiaschetteria Toscana is located in Salizada San Giovanni Grisostomo, just about in front of the church. it is very easy to find it arriving from Rialto, being in Campo San Bartolomeo, facing the Rialto bridge go straight on the right hand side, leaving the central post office on the left, cross the bridge where the Coin shop is and walk straight for another 100 meters, you will find it on your left.

How come the name of "Fiaschetteria Toscana" , (means reseller of Tuscany wine) in such a typical Venetian restaurant? The answer is to be found in the origins of the local, in the end of the 1800s a family from Montecatini in Tuscany started a bar business with this name selling products, wines and food typical from their region.
Once the Busatto family become onwners in the mid 1900s they decided to mantain the name but slowly trasforming the place into a restaurant. Thanks to their constant success they could in 1983 definetely make the place a most celebrated restaurant.

The goal of the Busatto family (Albino his wife Mariuccia and son Stefano) is to propose very typical products and preparations. Fish and meat from the lagoon and very next surrondings, offering everything fresh and therefore following their normal seasonality. Mariuccia is also knowned for her home made desserts.
